UNIL Fully Funded Summer Research Program 2024, Switzerland

Embrace the opportunity to participate in the UNIL Fully Funded Summer Research Program 2024, as applications are currently being accepted. UNIL, representing the prestigious University of Lausanne, offers an immersive eight-week summer research experience designed for students worldwide. The UNIL SUR program for 2024 is set to welcome approximately fifteen accomplished Bachelor/undergraduate students, hailing from diverse global locations and possessing backgrounds in both biological and medical studies. Benefits of the UNIL SUR Program 2024

This is a Fully Funded Summer research program in Switzerland. All the expenses will be covered such as:

  • Free Housing for the Participants (male/female) furnished apartment.
  • Students will have either single rooms or double rooms and share kitchen and bathroom facilities with their fellow SUR participants.
  • CHF 1’500 to cover other living expenses.
  • Travel Allowance. In general, up to CHF 500 for European travel and CHF 1’200 for overseas travel is covered.
  • Visa assistance will be provided to all the participants who require a visa to travel to Switzerland.
  • The program does not pay for the visa cost.
  • Participants must be covered for health and accidents from their home country.

Note: Reimbursement of travel expenses is made at the end of the program, after the accommodation has been checked out, subject to deduction of any cleaning/damage costs or loss of keys.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Open to all students from all countries.
  • Must have completed two years of the degree program.
  • Selected participants will be informed via email about six weeks after the application deadline.
  • Only undergraduate students are eligible.
  • Students with both biological and medical studies backgrounds.
  • Having prior research experience is not necessary.
